For many of us the summer is our busiest season and with the extra hours of daylight, carefree days and warm weather it is also the time when we are physically most active. This fall there is no reason to go into hibernation and pack on the pounds when the weather changes as there are plenty of ways to stay active and healthy throughout the colder months. With Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon, its almost expected that we fill up on rich holiday dishes. Its that time of year when nutritious fruits like apple, pears, and figs reach our shelves so be sure to make the most of it.
