These deliciously healthy energy bites are super easy to make, and are bursting with goodness. They make the perfect mid-morning snack, and are great for that afternoon slump when the boredom hits. We promise you, once you make these, you won’t want anything else. Peanut butter fiends, this recipe is for you.
2 cups pitted medjool dates
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
1/3 cup organic natural peanut butter
1½ cup protein powder
1½ cup walnuts
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 cup almonds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
Pinch of sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until the ingredients become a sticky formation.
Using the palms of your hands, roll the dough into 1 tablespoon balls. Place on a lined baking sheet or plate and chill in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours or overnight.
