Julie Andrews became a musical sensation, in the mid 1960s, from starring in the title role of Mary Poppins and, as Maria in “The Sound of Music.” However, her success continued into the 1970s, landing roles in “Darling Lili,” and “10.” Between 1973 and 1975, she headlined five variety specials on ABC. Andrews continues have a very strong career in TV and film, as well as, in voice acting for films like “Shrek” and “Despicable Me.” She is currently filming “Julie’s Greenroom,” an educational pre-school series set to premiere on Netflix in 2017. We loved her as the Queen Of Genovia in the Disney movie The Princess Diaries.
