Dark Age by Pierce Brown

This is the fifth book in the critically acclaimed Red Rising Saga which follows the character of Darrow on a Hunger Games in space adventure. Essentially, the colonized galaxies are populated by people who are ranked according to the color of their eyes which determines what industries they can work with and we don’t mean the regular blue and green colored eyes but instead, red, violet, white and so on. In this latest installment, Darrow must continue to wage his war against the au Lune family who continues to want to dominate the galaxies and keep the gold-eyes in power. Darrow is bent on keeping the world free of any caste system and this latest novel will definitely keep fans enthralled.

How To Hack A Heartbreak by Kristin Rockaway

The world of online dating is at the center of this novel which stars Mel Strickland as a character constantly searching for love through the app Fluttr which is essentially Tinder. As a programmer at a start-up herself, she finds that the men on Fluttr are generally pretty awful in terms of some of the things they say and the pictures that filter into her inbox. On a whim, she decides to put her coding skills to work and create her own dating app which gives users the opportunity to say which men and women on other dating apps are the good ones and which ones should be avoided at all costs. Naturally, it is an instant hit but she may just find that this app is going to cause her more problems than the ones she set out to fix, namely finding love herself.
