The CFDA awards, is arguably the second largest night in fashion. Here are some of the most memorable looks from the eventful evening.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner got jaws dropping, in this incredible pink ostrich feather dress by designer Alexandre Vauthier. Jenner was later spotted at the afterparty locking lips with Anwar Hadid, the younger brother of her top model girlfriends Belle and Gigi Hadid. Scandalous!

Irina Shayk

Russian supermodel Irina Shayk turned heads in a vivid yellow leopard print dress by Diane von Furstenburg. To the disappointment of many female fans, Shayk attended the event without her long-time boyfriend, Hollywood heartthrob Bradley Cooper.

The Olsen Twins

The Olsen twins made a rare appearance to the fashion event both wearing black on black. Mary Kate and Ashley left the spotlight from their days as child actresses. The pair launched their own fashion label in 2007 and have designed ranges for J C Penny and Walmart. The ladies both received awards for their fashion label, The Row.

Cynthia Erivo

Erivo; one of Britain’s up-and-coming actresses and singers, looked as sassy as ever in this mini-dress ensemble. She paired the short-hemmed dress with sheer black socks and heels, dark plum lipstick and daring green eyeshadow.

Diane Guerrero

Best known for her role on the hit TV series Orange is the New Black, Guerrero walked the red carpet in this satin floor-length dress. She looked elegant with her slicked-back locks and classy dress but we think she could have had just a bit more fun with her look. You’re only young once!

Cate Blanchett

What exactly is this outfit? The Australian actress always looks flawless but we’re not quite sure what to make of this sequinned get-up.

Busy Phillips

The usually stylish blonde actress, wore this flared pantsuit by designer Christian Siriano to the evening’s festivities. If the ensemble had been made in a more subtle fabric we might have had a different opinion but this shiny teal suit gets a ‘no’ from us.

Ashley Graham

Ashley Graham is simply fabulous. She’s the body positive, full-figured, plus size gal of our dreams! The model wore this simple nude dress to the annual event, she vamped up the look with bold red lips, dramatic full lashes and soft wavy locks.

Maddie Zieglar

Maddie Zieglar is most commonly recognized as the dancing girl who has made numerous appearances in Sia’s music videos. But little Maddie is all grown up! Maddie attended the awards for the first time and wore this demure black dress by Sies Marjan along with jewelry by Tiffany & Co.

Laura Harrier

Laura Harrier is one of the lesser known faces to have attended the evening’s awards but we’re pretty sure this rising talent is someone to look out for. She wore this shirt, blazer and pant ensemble. The look is chic, easy but perhaps a little too laid back for a fashion award ceremony… what do you think?

Sarah Paulson

Sarah Paulson looked like the picture of fun, feminine spring fashion in this floral frock. The acclaimed actress embellished the look with quirky earrings and dusty pink velvet heels and a matching clutch purse.

Tracee Ellis Ross

We are huge fans of the fabulous Miss Ross but we’re feeling unsure of her look from this year’s award show. Her make up and hair are effortlessly stylish but the pale pink ruffled dress does little to enhance her physique.

Winnie Harlow

Miss Harlow has come a long way from being one of the many contestants on America’s Next Top Model. Harlow has become one of fashion’s rising names and she seldom disappoints in the style department. She wore this one-shouldered navy dress by Tommy Hilfiger and teamed it with sparkling heels and a diamond necklace.

Delaney Tarr

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School senior Delaney Tarr has become a face recognized around the world for her tireless efforts to end gun violence after her high school was left devastated by a school shooting. She took time out from her activism to attend the event in this pretty, gold-colored wrap dress.

Emily Ratajkowski

Is there anything that Emily Ratajowski can’t wear? The model and actress opted for floral accents and black lace with this dress from the Brick Collection. The beauty has most recently wed her long-time boyfriend, Sebastian Bear-McClard.

Carmen Carrera

New Jersey native Carerra made a splash with this bold burnt orange dress and matching eye shadow. She most certainly has the abs to pull off the look but just because you can does not always mean you should. Sadly, this look doesn’t quite make our best dressed list.

Naomi Campbell

Fashion would not be what it is today without the seemingly ageless and infinitely fabulous Naomi Campbell. The supermodel wore this fringed red number. She was honored with the evening’s ‘Fashion Icon’ award. It’s difficult to believe the ebony beauty has most recently celebrated her 48th birthday.

Kaia Gerber

As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Kaia Gerber most definitely inherited her mother, Cindy Crawford’s, supermodel genes. The fresh-faced teen attended the event for the first time wearing this interesting outfit by Alexander Wang.

Kourtney Kardashian

You might not be a fan of the Kardashian sisters but its difficult to deny just how flawless Kourtney looks in this embellished, flared pantsuit. Love her or hate her, this girl knows how to pull off a look.

Lineisy Montero

Dominican-born Montero is best known for her work for numerous Prada fashion campaigns. The model looked lovely in pastel hues and an expected splash of color on her plump lips.

Amandla Stenberg

Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson walked the red carpet in this black satin dress. The star completed the look with sleek hair and a diamond choker. The dress was not the most exciting choice but we still think she looked elegant.

Kehlani

Bright yellow is making a serious fashion statement at the moment. Kehlani, the gorgeous songstress, looked like a ray of sunshine in this daring yellow dress and matching strappy heels. She embellished the look with an unexpected splash of animal print, she carried a quirky zebra-print clutch purse.

Issa Rae

Issa Rae made history as the first person of color to host the evening’s event. Her opening monologue was filled with political humor, most notably taking aim at Kanye West for his recent comments regarding slavery. Rae celebrated her achievement by wearing this flawless sparkling gown along with a belt embellished with the words ‘Every N***a is a Star.’

Bria Vinaite

The 24 year old actress was yet another rising talent to have attended the award show. Bria made her acting debut in the 2017 film The Florida Project. She looked fun and flirty with her bubblegum pink locks and shiny iridescent coat.

Katherine Langford

13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford made a splash in this chic, grown up look. The young actress wore her long, flowing brunette hair to one side, demure make up and donned this suit for the evening. We love the shoes!

Julia Garner

Julia Garner is yet another fresh face in the younger generation of Hollywood up-and-comers. We give her points for being bold but we’re not thrilled with her choice of dress for the evening.

Lili Reinhart

The young Riverdale star looked fresh, young and oh-so-pretty in this soft floral number. Reinhart has become a hot young Hollywood it-girl since she debuted playing Betty Cooper in the series inspired by the Archie comics. She has recently set fans tongue’s wagging with confirmation that she is dating her onscreen love interest Cole Sprouse.

Whoopie Goldberg

Oh, Whoopie. We’ll celebrate any lady who makes bold and risky fashion choices but it’s difficult to applaud when your eyes are being assaulted by so much bright pink. We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, just because it has a designer label does not mean you’ll look good in it…

Ciara

The singer showcased some major cleavage when she stepped out in this blazer-inspired mini-dress. The songstress pulled her hair back in a tight ponytail and boasted a gorgeous bronze beauty look.

Lupita Nyong’o

As per usual, the award-winning actress left the crowds stunned with this bold, fashion-forward look. Nyong’o wore this custom, thigh-skimming Versace bustier gown and matching choker, but the real showstopper was her gold liquid lipstick which has since left beauty bloggers desperate to know what exactly the star used to achieve the fabulous look.

Joan Smalls

Smalls hit the carpet looking gorgeous in this Brandon Maxwell outfit. The model paired a teeny tiny white crop top with a full high-waisted floor-length magenta skirt. We especially love the high pony tail and chunky diamond accessories!

Amber Heard

Sequins have made a fierce comeback this summer season and it seems the beautiful Amber Heard is on board with the sparkling trend. She attended the event in a crisp white tuxedo shirt and matching black sequinned pant suit.

Gigi Hadid

The top model made an entrance in this garish Versace body suit. Gigi usually gets it right on the red carpet but the abstract print lefts onlookers less than impressed. The 23 year old recently made headlines when she split from her long time boyfriend, singer Zayn Malik.

Camilla Mendes

Mendes plays the sultry and seductive Veronica Lodge on CW’s hit series Riverdale. She looked lovely in this embellished black dress with sheer and cosmic-themed detailing. She finished the look with a pair of dangling earrings and simple heels.

Kim Kardashian

It wouldn’t be a Hollywood event without Kim Kardashian in attendance. The reality TV star and established entrepreneur stunned in this crop top that revealed her enviable abs. Kim K was honored with a ‘Fashion Influencer’ award.
