Five YouTube Channels To Get Your Heart Pumping

Getting and staying fit is just one component of being healthy and with the weather finally moving from the dreary to the sunny now is the time to get outside and get your heart pumping. However, if you find working out at home more to your speed or in your backyard then these five YouTube channels are sure to get you sweating!

Tone It Up

Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott have been on the YouTube fitness scene since 2009 with their Tone It Up video workouts. Their videos feature all sorts of short but targeted workouts for the entire body with a focus on your abs, arms and everything else. The videos tend to not be longer than 15 minutes so you do not have an excuse not to give one a go.

Blogilates

Chrissy Ho also started her pilates empire back in 2009 and has gone on to create one of the most successful channels to date. Her workouts only feature a yoga mat, which makes it an affordable workout for anyone to try. Her videos are always not focused on being ‘bikini ready’ like some channels preach but simply being comfortable in your own skin and focusing on working out for health.

POPSUGAR Fitness

As you may have guessed from the title, the media giant has taken all of the fad celebrity workouts that are gossiped about on their site and decided to give them a go for their audience. If you have heard about a certain Victoria’s Secret model’s insane workout or other ones popularized by other noted celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow then you will be able to find it here. This is not to say that you will not get a good workout in, you definitely will just be prepared to try some unusual exercises.

Fitness Blender

Like the other channels on this list, all the videos are free, the couple that creates them all also have over 25 years of experience between them making them true fitness trainers for all bodies. Their videos range from 10 minutes to an hour, so depending on how much time you have you will be able to get a full workout in. You may need some light free weights for these, but you may also find you want to create your own fitness routine after trying a few of the videos and figuring out what works for you. These can all be done easily from home as well!
