There are some people in life who truly thrive working within a team, they are confident and love to bounce ideas and energy off people but there are others out there who really enjoy working independently. Although work may sometimes seem daunting for an introvert, there are plenty of jobs out there that can suit someone perfectly. There are many companies out there that require someone to come into work, keep their head down and deliver their work on time and with accuracy.
So, if you are the time of person that is better in a job that requires you to be on your own, that is totally fine, there are plenty of introverts out there. Being overwhelmed with group meetings and tasks is fine and just because you are quiet, it doesn’t mean you aren’t working hard or don’t have ideas to share.

An accounts manager really has to take control of their workload and work entirely independently, except for a little interaction with their clients. Crunching numbers and analyzing data takes a lot of concentration so there won’t be many people who are trying to bug you.
In a restaurant, cheffing can be a super social job but if you have the culinary skills, there’s no reason why you can’t become a private chef. You can work individually or for a family in a much quieter environment, cooking what you want and in your own time.
If you like a quiet life, then this job is for you. Not only do librarians get to enjoy peace and quiet all day, but they rarely have to interact with people. One for the bookworms out there, this can really be a blissful job.
